A little about Braden;
Braden Newell is a technology educator, commentator, and digital content creator based in beautiful Atlantic Canada. With a decade of experience in the technology sector, Braden has developed a talent for taking complex technical topics and translating them into simpler speak. His life’s mission is to make technology easier to understand.
Braden is a talented facilitator, a passionate public speaker, and an award-winning videographer, having worked as a Creative Pro at Apple, teaching people about their personal technology, a Learning Experience Designer at Jamf, creating content focusing on the company’s security portfolio, and a contributor for MobileSyrup, Canada’s leading consumer technology publication. By combining his passions for business, technology, and education, he’s come to specialize in transferring knowledge through creating modern and engaging learning experiences, including video, the written word, and live facilitation, both virtual and in-person.
Braden holds a Master of Business Administration, concentrating on technology innovation, from the University of Fredericton and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in computing and information systems, from Saint Mary’s University. Braden also holds over two dozen professional certifications, badges, and certificates from organizations such as Apple, Jamf, and CompTIA, among many others, proving his technical and industry knowledge.
Braden regularly releases videos on his YouTube channel (@bradennewell) and in his spare time, he serves on Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia's board of directors and Park View Education Centre’s School Advisory Council. He also enjoys practicing karate, building LEGO and walking his dog, Sniper.
